I am writing to inform you that from Monday 31st January Mrs Essinki will lead our school.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Shaw for his contribution to the leadership of Ecole Ruban Vert in recent months and wish him, and his wife, well for the future.
The appointment of Mrs Essinki to the position of Head of School follows over three years of service to École Ruban Vert as Deputy Head of School, and 20 years of service to education in Africa, France, and the UK. Mrs Essinki was a member of the leadership team that successfully achieved accreditation with the Council of International Schools (CIS), and secured re-accreditation for the delivery of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Her support for both students and staff has enabled us to achieve high academic standards, maintaining a 100% pass rate in the IBDP, and Bilingual IBDP, as well as enabling our students to graduate from our school and study at outstanding universities.
Our school’s vision is to become Africa’s most enterprising school, focusing on sustainability and innovation to play a significant role in Gabon’s and in Africa’s education. It is with this aim in mind that we look forward to working with Mrs Essinki to ensure the continued growth and development of ERV, further enhance our academic results, strengthen teaching and learning, and support each member of our school to achieve success.
