Another great year!!!

Last academic year, for the very first time, students of École Ruban Vert, the international school in Gabon, completed the International Baccalaureate examination. We secured a 100% pass rate in our first year, a genuine and amazing achievement. This year, again, our school has attained the same outstanding pass rate and some students have also achieved the Bilingual International Baccalaureate (English and French).

These significant standards of excellence have enabled graduates of ERV to join renowned institutions, such as Georgetown University, Maastricht University, Manchester University or the African Leadership University in 2018.

The average score for all IBDP candidates in 2019 is 31.4, up from 26 last year, and above the worldwide average of 29.62. ERV is proud to have supported Gabon’s first Bilingual Diploma graduates and to have enabled graduates from the school to secure university acceptances that included;

  • Kingsborough Community College, New York
  • African Leadership University, Mauritius
  • University of Tilburg, Netherlands
  • University of British Columbia, Vancouver
  • University of Manchester, United Kingdom

 ERV is currently creating an Alumni Association, if you would like to keep in touch with ERV alumni, please contact

ERV Alumni scholar Grenic, (Manchester University U.K.) spent some time in London over the New Year vacation period with ERV IBDP student Nathan.
