ERV was delighted to receive a delegation of dignitaries from the Commonwealth in school. The guests included a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mr Linford ANDREWS, Conseiller et Chef de Département Section Appui Electoral (Chef de Délégation) ; Dr. Roger KORANTENG, Conseiller et Chef de Département Groupe Gouvernement du Secteur Public ; Dr. Shavana HAYTHORNTHWAITE, Conseiller et chef de Département Groupe Droits de l’Homme ; Mme Marie-Pierre OLIVIER, Conseiller Juridique, Section d’Etat de Droit ; and Mme Lindiwe MALELEKA, Spécialiste des Questions Politiques section Afrique. Members of staff and students shared with them information relating to the curriculum we deliver, development of the English Language, leadership, student voice, respect and identity. The topics of discussion embraced ERVs local, national and global connections eg through Model United Nations and Round Square. Whilst also experiencing a tour of the ERV Campus they observed first hand our commitment to sustainability, the environment, innovation, and our ambition to become ‘Africa’s most enterprising school’.
