More experiential learning, this week with our Year 3 students. They had an incredible learning experience at Géant Ckado supermarket! The purpose was to provide our students with a hands-on understanding of organisational systems, aligning with our current Unit of Inquiry. Witnessing and participating in the background operations of a supermarket firsthand greatly enhanced their comprehension of the concept of ‘systems’ in the real world. At the end of the trip, they had the opportunity to put their maths skills to the test in a real-life setting and make purchasing decisions. A truly valuable learning experience.
