Dear Parents,

It was sincerely a pleasure to see you at the Parents-Teacher evening last Thursday. Thank you so much for attending the event as this reassures us educators that we have your support which remains essential to our academic mission. Student Leadership continues to grow at ERV as we saw prefects elected in the Primary school this week. I cannot wait until Monday to congratulate and motivate them in person during primary school Monday morning assembly. I was treated to a delightful song about body parts in the last one and I am eager to see what they have put together for next week.

ECA’s kicked off this week and this term, even more and new ECA’s and ESA’s will be on offer as the ERV community continues to grow and explore new challenges. I seize this opportunity to ask you to encourage your children to choose a large and diverse set of ECA’s and ESA’s. Make the most of this opportunity that we are pleased to offer your children.

In the Secondary, Year 11 IGCSE Art students completed the Art mock examination. The remaining mock examinations will start in a week’s time, more exactly on the 29th of January and end on the 8th of February. We wish our Year 11 and 13 good luck and as was explained to them through a video in assembly, ‘When you don’t give up, you cannot fail’.

The IBDP team and myself will be holding a IB Conference this Thursday and parents of Year 9, 10 and 11 students are invited. However, this event is open to all so should you want to know more about the IB Diploma programme, please join us in the Auditorium at 5pm.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend,

Regards,
