Another great year!!!
Last academic year, for the fourth successive year, students of École Ruban Vert, the international school in Gabon, secured a 100% pass rate in the International Baccalaureate examination. Our school has attained the same outstanding pass rate as previous years and all students entered for Bilingual Diploma also passed.
These significant standards of excellence have enabled graduates of ERV to join renowned institutions, such as Georgetown University, Maastricht University, Manchester University, King’s College London, The American University Paris, Norwich University U.K. NYU in China, Trent/Memorial universities in Canada and the University of Houston Texas, among many others.
The average score for all IBDP candidates in 2021 is 34.4.

ERV was delighted to hear that Grenic Cinerg has announced his nomination as ‘Ambassador’ for the University of Manchester in the UK. Grenic was an ERV Scholar who was successful in securing an Ozavino Scholarship supported by the Foundation Sylvia Bongo Ondimba (FSBO). Grenic is studying Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology, and was a graduate of ERV in 2019.
Ambassadors help to raise the profile of a University, promote their programmes of study and help to lead alumni/student engagement in activities. The role of comprises a range of expectations that includes promoting the University of Manchester to others in their personal, professional and online networks. They are also sometimes responsible for several tasks that include leading the way for campus groups and assisting staff in student admission or events like orientation. Ambassadors also assist with student recruitment via social media or phone calls. Student ambassadors play an important role in the enrolment decision of prospective students.
We are proud of Grenic’s commitment to his globally recognised higher education establishment, how he is enhancing his own skills, and the reputation of his school (ERV), his sponsors (FSBO), and his country (Gabon). Well Done!
