To launch STEM week, our Year 7 students visited AGEOS today, gaining a remarkable opportunity to witness the facilities, technology, and equipment used in space research. They explored the ground station and observed the real-time processing of satellite data. Additionally, they attended a presentation on the agency’s missions. The visit provided valuable insights into the utilisation of satellite technology for monitoring climate, vegetation, and other environmental factors.
This experience will ignite our students’ passion for STEM subjects, broadening their horizons and opening their minds to potential careers in STEM fields.
