Our Year 5 students’ exploration of how materials change and transform in their unit “How the World Works” led them on a mouthwatering experiential learning trip to L’Escale Bakery! During their visit, students immersed themselves in the fascinating process of pastry-making, gaining hands-on experience and insights into how simple ingredients metamorphose into delightful pastries.
From kneading dough to learning the art of sweet creations from a master pastry chef, our students connected their classroom studies to real-world applications. It was a perfect blend of education and excitement!
