The system of ‘Houses’ at ERV provides our students with opportunities to develop a sense of belonging, foster school wide connections, and participate in a range of enrichment and leadership experiences through our active calendar of inter-House events. Our ‘Houses Morning’ held this week provided an impressive start to the year for each of our houses – Mandela, Maathaï, Senghor, Soyinka – with students from Early Years to Year 13 playing key roles as students learnt more about the meaning of their House, took part in team-building activities, designed their House flag, and presented nominations for this year’s House Captains.
