Thank you to the ‘Projet Tortues Tahiti Gabon’ group of Libreville for the presentation today. Our primary students got to learn about the incredible journey 5 different species of turtles take as they hatch on Gabon’s beaches, and then return 25 years later to lay their eggs, battling the odds for the dangers they face along the way. Our students engaged in ways they can help the environment, and daily actions they can take to make our city beaches safer for our turtle friends.
